'Animal' has been creating all the right buzz since its announcement. The trailer, songs and posters doubled the excitement among the moviegoers. Many lauded 'Animal' trailer but a particular scene became fodder for meme lords and it got trolled. The scene featured Ranbir and Rashmika. In the scene that has gone viral, Rashmika's character was seen talking to Ranbir's character while clenching her teeth. Social media users came up with hilarious memes which showed them trying to decode her dialogue. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga opened up about the actress getting trolled.

In an interview with India Today, Sandeep said that Rashmika was supposed to speak in a particular way because it's a very emotional scene. ''I knew there would be a certain reaction to it. When someone is feeling a certain emotion, then they speak with their teeth clenched. I think keeping it in the trailer has only given it multiple views. When you see it as part of the larger scene in the movie, it will make more sense,'' added the 'Kabir Singh' fame director.

In the scene, Rashmika who seems to be angry at Ranbir says, “Your love for your father is a curse, I really wish he had died that day.”

'Animal' also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimrii, Shakti Kapoor and Suresh Oberoi in pivotal roles. Anil and Ranbir are playing on-screen father-son. It has a hard-core fight sequence between Ranbir and Bobby's characters. The film clashed with Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Sam Bahadur' at the box office.
