Regular-season NBA games will be held in the United Kingdom in each of the next two years, with the Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic facing off in London next January.

The NBA's first global game was played in Tokyo in 1990 and trips abroad became a common occurrence throughout the 1990s, before being reintroduced in 2011.

At least one regular-season game has been played outside the United States or Canada in each campaign since 2012-13, except for 2020-21, due to COVID-19.

The O2 Arena in London has hosted nine regular-season games, with the Washington Wizards beating the New York Knicks in the most recent of those in January 2019.

And after six years of the NBA sending its global offering to Mexico City and Paris exclusively, the Magic and Grizzlies will face off in Berlin on January 15 before reconvening in London three days later.

Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said: "London is now the undisputed sporting capital of the world and the NBA coming to The O2 in January 2026 will further cement our global status."

The NBA will also stage two European games in the 2026-27 and 2027-28 campaigns, with Manchester and Paris the host cities for the former season. The latter season will see Paris and Berlin share host duties.
