French Open 2022: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga Retires From Tennis - In Pics
France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga bid a tearful farewell from tennis after a first-round defeat against Casper Ruud of Norway at the 2022 French Open. The 37-year-old from Le Mans leaves tennis with 121 wins in Grand Slam matches, a record for a French man. He reached Australian Open 2008 final, and was a two-time semi-finalist at French Open and Wimbledon. He won an Olympic medal, a silver in men's doubles with Michael Llodra at the London Games in 2012.
