In a tragic accident, a goods train ran over reportedly at least four labourers along with critically injuring three more in Jajpur Railway station in Odisha. This comes five days after one of the deadliest train accidents occurred in Odisha's Balasore killing 278 people and injuring over 1000 people.
According to the reports, the labourers had taken shelter under the goods train due to heavy rain and without noticing that, the train started rolling.

A railway spokesperson told the media, "There was a sudden thunderstorm. The labourers were working at a railway siding where a goods train was standing stationary. They sheltered under it but unfortunately, the goods train which did not have an engine attached to it started moving causing the accident."
He informed that four people have died while three remains critically injured.
However, reportedly locals at Jajpur claimed that two more of the injured have also succumbed to injuries.
