Trinity, portrayed by actress Carrie-Anne Moss, was a significant and iconic character in The Matrix series. Our favourite Trinity turns 56 today and we must say that, Trinity, we loved you more than Neo in The Matrix.

Although fans truly loved them as a couple, they also had their favourites and our choice is definitely Trinity! In the film series, Trinity is one of the main characters and plays a significant role throughout the trilogy.

Moss as Trinity was much more than a sidekick

Trinity's character in the film extends beyond being merely a love interest or Neo's sidekick. Although it may seem like she has a secondary role, the movie cleverly uses Neo's portrayal as an 'inferior' stereotype to show Trinity's strengths.
