The UGC NET June 2025 results are out. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results on Monday, July 21. Candidates can check their scores on the official website.
The result was expected on Tuesday, but NTA released it a day early.
The exam was held between June 25 and June 29, 2025, across different centres in the country. Lakhs of students appeared for the test to qualify for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor posts.

To check your result, follow these steps:
Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Click on the UGC NET June 2025 scorecard link
Enter your application number and password or date of birth
Your scorecard will appear on the screen
Download and save it for future use

Check subject wise cut-offs for JRF, PhD Asst Prof
Keep a printout as proof during document verification or further applications.
Answer Key and Objection Window
The provisional answer key was uploaded by NTA on July 5. Candidates were given time to raise objections from July 6 to July 8. After reviewing the objections, the final results were prepared and published
UGC NET: Attempts and Eligibility
There is no limit on the number of attempts for UGC NET. However, for JRF, the age of the candidate should not be more than 30 years (with some relaxations).
Those qualifying for Assistant Professor posts can apply to universities across India. If you’re aiming for PhD admissions, the scorecard is also valid in many institutions.
