Taapsee Pannu has seemingly responded to Kangana Ranaut’s latest jibe after the latter accused her of ridiculing her upbringing and parents. Kangana had targeted Taapsee in now-deleted Instagram Stories, reviving their long-running public feud. Taapsee has since shared a brief but pointed social media post that appears to address the controversy without naming Kangana.

Following Kangana’s remarks, Taapsee took to social media and posted a cryptic message that read, “Hence, proved.” She did not mention Kangana or directly explain what the post referred to.
Kangana had earlier described Taapsee as a “sasti copy” while reacting to comments the actor made about their differences. In another deleted Story, Kangana claimed that Taapsee was among those who questioned her upbringing and made comments about her family background.
Kangana’s remarks came after Taapsee discussed their feud during an interview with India Today. Speaking about their contrasting views and personalities, Taapsee said her opinion of Kangana reflected her own upbringing and way of perceiving things.

Speaking at the India Today Woman Summit 2026, Taapsee said she had never met Kangana, either before or after their public feud began. Her opinion of the actor was described as a reflection of her own upbringing and perspective, while Kangana was said to have her own.
The latest exchange adds another chapter to a feud that dates back to 2019. It intensified after Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel labelled Taapsee a “sasti copy” of Kangana.
The dispute resurfaced in 2020 amid debates around nepotism and industry politics, when Kangana also referred to Taapsee and other actors as “B-grade actresses” and “needy outsiders”
Taapsee’s latest post has now reignited interest in the long-running clash, although neither actor has directly named the other in the latest social media exchange.
