Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has taken everyone by surprise by getting married to Pakistani actress Sana Javed. On Saturday, January 20, Sana and Shoaib took to their respective social media handles to share dreamy pictures from their wedding. It is to be noted that Shoaib earlier married Indian tennis player Sania Mirza. Sana has even changed her name from Sana Javed to 'Sana Shoaib Malik' on Instagram. The newlyweds were seen all smiles as they posed for the cameras.

Sharing two photos from their nikah ceremony on Instagram, the couple jointly wrote, "Alhamdullilah And We created you in pairs (sic)."

Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed's dating rumours sparked last year when the cricketer wished the actress on her birthday. The former captain of the Pakistani cricket team wished Sana by sharing a pic of her and wrote, "Happy Birthday Buddy''.

For the unversed, Sana was previously married to singer Umair Jaswal. Both got married in 2020 and separated later and the reason is not known yet.

Shoaib Malik's wedding comes amidst his divorce rumours with Sania. They haven't spoken about it publicly but now as Malik got married, it is clear that those reports of their separation were true. Shoaib and Sania got hitched in 2010 in an intimate ceremony and they have a son together who they named Izhaan. They welcomed him in 2018.

On January 17, Sania re-shared a post on her Instagram handle that had hinted at their divorce. It read, "Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely (sic)."
