Rahul Roy Reveals Mahesh Bhatt And Pooja Bhatt Didn't Check On Him After Brain Stroke

Rahul Roy revealed that after his brain stroke in 2020, Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt didn't reach out to him.

In 2020, actor Rahul Roy had a brain stroke and he was admitted to the ICU of a Mumbai hospital. It was one of the worst phases of his life and Rahul has now recovered. In an interview he revealed that he received help from people he was not expecting and one was Salman Khan who reached out to him during the time of his crisis. But his former co-stars like Karisma Kapoor, Manisha Koirala and Raveena Tandon and even Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt with whom he had a long association didn't check on him..

In an interview on Siddharth Kannan's YouTube channel, when Rahul was asked if Pooja and Mahesh checked on his health,  he said ‘No but that’s ok’. His sister Priyanka added, “No one from his home also called. His twin brother, who was following up with me, called. But that’s ok. It’s been three and a half years and nobody from his family has yet called him or contacted him. When his own brother has not called, how can we expect from the stars."

For the unversed, Rahul Roy made his Bollywood debut with Mahesh Bhatt's 1991 musical romance 'Aashiqui'. He also starred in Mahesh other  films like 'Junoon', 'Cabaret' and a romantic thriller film directed by Pooja Bhatt. 

In the same interview, the 'Bigg Boss' Season 1 winner said, "Jo kaam merko dena tha, unn logon ne sab le liya (whatever they wanted of me, they took everything), but they didn’t give what I was looking for".
