Pankaj Tripathi's upcoming film 'Kadak Singh' is creating all the right buzz. Directed by National Award-winning director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Pankaj is playing Kadak Singh/AK Shrivastav, who is a Joint Director at the Department of Financial Crimes struggling with retrograde amnesia. He is admitted to the hospital, where he encounters four conflicting narratives about his past that force him to question reality.

The trailer of the film was recently launched at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), under the ‘Gala Premiere’ category.

Speaking more about the film, Pankaj Tripathi said, “I watched the film, and I became extremely emotional. It’s a great and different film. In fact, I cried twice while watching it. Ekdum kadak bani hai film.”

As he is playing Kadak Singh, Tripathi was asked if he’s kadak [harsh] in real life. The 'OMG 2' actor laughed and said, “Main bilkul kadak nai par film kadak zarur bani hai.”

He had also said, “Kadak Singh is unlike anything I have played before. He is an unusual character, and it was such a joy to portray such a layered personality. Additionally, I got to work with some incredible talent, including Tony Da, Parvathy, Jaya, and the young and enthusiastic ones like Sanjana. Everyone’s combined energy and passion transformed the film from the pages to the screen.''

'Kadak Singh' also stars Parvathy Thiruvothu, Sanjana Sanghi, Jaya Ahsan, Dilip Shankar, Paresh Pahuja, and Varun Buddhadev. It will premiere on Zee5 on December 8.
