Known for his role in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,' TV actor Mohsin Khan has stepped into OTT. He has made his debut with 'Jab Mila Tu,' which is touted as a musical romantic drama. Directed by Lalit Mohan, the show also stars Eisha Singh, Alisha Chopra and Pratik Sehajpal.

Now, the cast of the show spoke to DNA recently during the show's promotions. Upon being asked about his OTT debut, Mohsin shared, "I'm feeling all sorts of emotions. I'm excited, but at the same time, I am anxious, nervous, and scared. I'm glad that I have finally made my debut in OTT, but I think I haven't synced in this fact yet, and it will only happen once the show is out."

But just because he has made his mark on a digital platform, doesn't mean he has forgotten the value of television. He stated that he won't say anything bad about TV, emphasizing that, "Television is the reason why we're here. It's a beautiful medium, that goes to every household. I go to the smallest of the smallest villages. Our shows reach till there. The respect and love we get from them is on another level."

Mohsin continued stating that OTT, however, has more benefits than television. "Of course, OTT has perks like there is less censorship and more freedom. But here's the thing, there are these many stories and these many characters, and there are particular ways you can portray certain characters, and that's going to be everywhere. Be it theatre, TV or films."

Agreeing with his statement was co-star Eisha Singh, who added that OTT has given another chance to actors, who didn't get due credit with television, to showcase their talent. She said, "When OTT arrived, more people, good actors, especially theatre actors got an identity. We have many talented people who were not fit in TV or films, I don't know why and don't wish to comment. But OTT is a different world. You can truly spread your wings here."

'Jab Mila Tu' is available to stream only on JioCinema.
