Actor Manisha Koirala was conferred with an honorary doctorate by the University of Bradford in UK. Koirala shared a video from the ceremony where she was seen receiving the honour.

On Tuesday, Manisha, 54, shared a video on her Instagram handle and shared that her education in life came through 'hard work, failure, resilience, and service'.
"Today, I received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Bradford. I stand here not as someone who came through the traditional path of education, but as someone who learned through life – through hard work, failure, resilience, and service (sic)," she wrote.
"This honor means more than I can put into words. It’s proof that no matter where you start, your journey matters (sic)," she wrote further and
thanked the University of Bradford for seeing value in her story. The Dil Se actress ended her post by writing, "Keep growing. Keep shining…."
Recently, Manisha paid an emotional tribute to her late grandmother, Sushila Koirala, whom she called her 'first teacher'. Sharing pics of her grandmom, the actress wrote, "Offering deepest tribute to mother Susila, who raised me, taught me the values of life and founded me the foundation of who I am today. My sweetest childhood memories are attached to her - whether learning life lessons, learning Bharatanatyam or Manipuri dance, or reading a book (sic).”
Her grandmother died on July 13, 2007 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
On the professional front, Manisha Koirala was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. She played the role of Mallikajaan, for which she received overwhelming response.
