KATSEYE has pulled off its debut No. 1 rank on the Billboard 200.
The group achieved it with their latest album, Wild.
This is the fourth No. 1 album by an all-women group this decade.
KATSEYE has charted its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as their latest album Wild debuts atop the list. The set earned 170,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending Aug. 20, a Luminate. Wild caps the group’s second top 10-charted effort, following the No. 4-peaking Beautiful Chaos in 2025. This is first time KATSEYE has reached No. 1 on the chart since the group debuted in 2024. Wild released on Aug. 14.
The KPop group, KATSEYE was formed through The Debut: Dream Academy, a survival program jointly launched by HYBE and Universal Music Group's Geffen Records.
The Billboard 200 determines and ranks the most popular albums of the week in the United States, measured by equivalent album units comprising physical and digital sales, as well as streaming and digital track downloads converted into album sales.
KATSEYE’s latest release emerges the fourth No. 1 album by an all-woman group this decade, following Twice’s With You-th, NewJeans’ 2nd EP Get Up and Blackpink’s Born Pink. It also marks the largest pure album sales week for an all-woman group in more than three years.

Phoebe Bridgers’ Lost Weekend debuted at No. 2 with 118,000 equivalent album units, marking her first solo project to enter the Billboard 200 top 10 and her biggest week by units. Bridgers previously hit the top 10 with boygenius, her trio with Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, whose 2023 album The Record peaked at No. 4. Stray Kids’ This & That, which debuted at No. 1 last week, dropped to No. 3, followed by Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love at No. 4 and Ella Langley’s Dandelion at No. 5. Wrapping out the rest of the top 10 are Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem (No. 6), Ariana Grande’s Petal (No. 8), Drake’s Iceman (No. 9) and Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving (No. 10).
