South Korean music giants IU, G-Dragon, and Cho Yong-pil have made their fans all over the world excited with little hints at their comeback. They have raised many expectations and there's anticipation surrounding them.

IU, after dropping her EP 'Pieces' in December 2021, has been active as an actress but is now gearing up to return to her roots as a singer this year. Known for much-loved tracks like 'Good Day,' 'eight,' 'Celebrity,' 'Palette,' and 'Lilac,' she's garnered immense praise and a huge fanbase. Last year, she made history by becoming the first female K-Pop artist to hold a solo concert at Jamsil Stadium, Seoul. IU herself announced her comeback preparations through her YouTube vlog. She revealed, "I was recording until dawn. I have to record the title track and another important song." She also revealed that this time, her song titles will not be three letters, like the usual naming.

The hype for her album began when the news of BTS' V starring in her music video broke out. IU exclaimed, "The music video was great from the time of filming. It's completely CG-free, and it has an atmosphere that's never been in any IU music video before."

Having been cleared of all police charges and drug allegations, G-Dragon has hinted at a return to his singing career. Previously being involved in a drug-related case, G-Dragon voluntarily underwent police questioning and tests, which proved his innocence. After being officially not guilty, he left YG Entertainment and signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation, announcing a fresh chapter in his career. During a press conference conducted by his new agency, G-Dragon announced that he will be establishing an anti-drug use foundation, while committing to his artistic ambitions and social responsibilities with his 2024 comeback.

Notably, G-Dragon's upcoming release holds significant weight as he hasn't made new music since his mini-album 'Kwon Ji Yong,' back in 2017, increasing expectations after a hiatus of almost seven years.

Last, but not the least, the 'King of Singers' is making a comeback too. Cho Yong-pil appears to be gearing up for a comeback in the music scene. Celebrating his 55th debut anniversary last year, he announced a 20th studio album comprising 10 songs, initially slated for release in fall. He did release 'Road to Twenty-Prelude One' and 'Road to Twenty-Prelude Two' in 2022 and 2023 respectively as part of his 20th album project, but the full album is yet to be released. Expectations are mounting for its expected release in the first half of this year.

Simultaneously, Cho Yong-pil solidified his status as the 'King of Singers,' which was marked by various concerts for his 55th anniversary, held in Gwangju, Seoul, Daegu, and Busan.
