BTS' V is all set to collaborate with K-pop solo artist IU for her upcoming music video. The announcement came right after BIGHIT MUSIC announced the enlistment plans for the remaining BTS members -- Jimin, V, Jung Kook, and RM.

According to a report by Starnews, prior to his military enlistment, BTS' V is expected to feature in IU's upcoming music video. IU is presently in the recording phase of a new album which is being targeted for release in the first half of 2024. Further the report states “V is enlisting on the 11th, so they had to hastily produce the music video to accommodate his schedule, even though they haven't decided on a specific release date.”

Both BIGHIT MUSIC and IU's agency EDAM Entertainment have confirmed the news. EDAM wrote "IU has finished filming the music video with BTS' V, and is preparing a new album with a target of the first half of the year." To confirm the news, BTS' agency briefly responded with "the news is correct."

It would not be the first time IU and and the 'Slow Dancing' singer have been on-screen together. V earlier showed their special connection by being a guest on her talk show 'IU's Palette' back in September.

The news of them starring together is enough to get fans excited over their newfound friendship. A fan wrote "That’ll be an awesome mv," while others said "poor jungkook he missed the chance," "Yayyyy finally the much needed", "finally some chart topping collaboration," "Omg is this serious, are we getting the new power collab?"

However, any further details regarding the music video have not been disclosed yet.
