The Korean zombie thriller, All of Us Are Dead, is set to return with more thrilling and intense second season. The official Instagram handle of Netflix, on Wednesday, shared the latest update of All Of Us Are Dead Season 2. The OTT giant revealed that the production of the most-awaited gripping K-drama has kickstarted.
All of Us Are Dead Season 2 begins filming
The streamer shared a video with a caption: "AHHHH ALL OF US ARE DEAD S2 is now in production!!!” The teaser introduces both old and new cast members starring in the K-drama.
The video features a script-reading session, joined by a zombie, which hints at the dreadful journey ahead.
All of Us Are Dead Season 2 cast
Original cast members Park Ji-hu (playing Nam On-jo), Yoon Chan-young (Lee Cheong-san), Cho Yi-hyun (Choi Nam-ra), and Lomon (Lee Su-Hyeok), are returning as the survivors of the original outbreak at Hyosan High School.
Lee Min-jae of Weak Hero: Class 2 fame, Squid Game Season 2 actor Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won of Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3, and Yoon Ga-i, are the fresh cast, who will face the perilous struggle ahead for survival.
All of Us Are Dead Season 2 plot
The first season of All of Us Are Dead, which premiered in 2022, showed teens at Hyosan High school facing a zombie outbreak and how they struggled to survive it. Season 2 will start with Nam On-jo, who is studying at university in Seoul, and is still haunted by the trauma and loss. As she tries to move on from the past, there is a new outbreak in the city, forcing her and her friends Yong Ma-ru (Lee Min-jae), So Ju-ran (Kim Si-eun), and Lee Jong-ah (Yoon Ga-i) for a battle of survival.
Han Doo-seok (Roh Jae-won) is the team leader within the National Intelligence Service.
Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su have returned to direct Season 2, and writer Chun Sung-il has penned the script.
