Just days after enlisting together, BTS members Jimin and Jung Kook's military training camp photos have gone viral. On December 17, images of the two attending a lecture went took over the internet, creating excitement among fans online. Multiple fans reposted those pictures on X and were glad to be able to have a glimpse of the two idols.

In the pictures, Jung Kook stands out among recruits, carefully listening to the lecture. Meanwhile, Jimin seems to be clapping during a segment of the same session. All the recruits, including the two, were donning black outfits, which were likely a part of their disciplinary training.

Fans were way too fast to react to the latest development in the BTS world, as this is the first image of Jimin and Jung Kook following their enlistment in the South Korean military on December 12, 2023. It's probably because no one expected it to happen this soon.

One wrote on X, “Finally I can see Jimin and JungKook, but why are they sitting separately? JiKook is seen receiving educational and reading program training. Don't daydream and don't be sleepy.” “As much as I love seeing the boys healthy, I can't help but hope these smuggled pictures will stop. This is how invasions of privacy start. Let's leave the boys alone and not encourage prying eyes always looking for opportunities to snap pics. It's hard to live like that, I'm sure,” added another.

In another image. Jimin isn't clearly seen, and appears blurry. However, eagle-eyed ARMYs figured it out and circulated those images, labeling them with two emoticons: a chick (baby chicken) and a bunny (rabbit). These two emoticons are often associated with the Busan boys.

One more said, “Hope all the boys are dealing well with the changes. Hope they are getting all the support they need. The idea of where Jungkook and Jimin may go after training scares me. They are not on holiday, as some seem to think. They are not the idols.”

Reports say that Jimin and Jung Kook opted for the "buddy system" to fulfill their mandatory service together. Their attendance in the same lecture solidified this belief. This "buddy system" allows recruits to enlist together, and serve alongside each other for the entirety of 18 months. ARMYs are relieved to learn that two of their most-loved members will be near each other at all times.

Jimin and Jung Kook were the last members of BTS to enlist in the military. The septet is currently on a hiatus and will reunite in June 2025.
