Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is all set to hit the screens on February 14. Ahead of its release, The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has reportedly asked for a few changes in the film. Read on to know what are modifications CBFC has directed.

One of the major changes the censor board has asked is the muting of the words ‘haramz*adon’ and ‘haramz*ada’ in Chhaava, reported Bollywood Hungama.

Chhaava was passed with a U/A 16+ certificate by the CBFC but with certain modifications. The dialogue 'Mughal sultanat ka zehar' was changed to 'Uss samay, kayi shaasak aur sultanat khud ko zinda rakhne ki koshish kar rahe the' and 'Khoon toh aakhir Mughalon ka hi hai' was replaced with 'Khoon toh hai Aurang ka hi'. Another word Aameen' was replaced with 'Jai Bhavani'.  ‘16 saal' is changed to ‘14 saal,’ ‘22 saal ka ladka to ‘24 saal ka ladka,’ and ‘9 saal’ to ‘kayi saal.’

The censor board has also asked the makers to remove the scene showing Maratha warriors dressed in sarees.

The makers are also instructed to put an audio-text disclaimer stating the name of the book from which the film is adapted, clarifying that it doesn't intend to defame anybody or distort historical facts.
