Actor Ayaz Khan and his wife Jannat Khan took to their Instagram to share the joy of welcoming their daughter into the world. On Wednesday night, the new parents announced the baby's name on Instagram: Dua Husain Khan along with a cute peek of the newborn.

The baby could only be seen partially in the photo since she was resting on a bed. Dua was dressed in pink and white holding her parents' fingers with both hands. Ayaz and Jannat captioned the photo as, "Dua’s do come true!! On 21:12:22, Allah blessed us with the arrival of our baby girl Dua Husain Khan..

They received well wishes from many famous celebs. TV actress Kishwers Merchantt wrote, "Love the name...Congratulations you guys." Neelam Kothari also congratulated the couple. Bipasha Basu commented, “She is here to fill all our lives with love and happiness. Congratulations to my darling @jannatkhan1618 & my dearest @ayazkhan701. Can’t wait to witness the adventures of Devi & Dua. Two strawberries. #scorpio #capricorn”

Talking about his newborn, Ayaz Khan told ETimes,  “I can’t believe that I have become a father… it’s crazy. Initially, it felt as if I was holding someone else’s baby, like a friend’s child (laughs!). To be honest, the feeling took some time to sink in. Our daughter is adorable. It’s so strange that you are so worried while holding someone else’s newborn but when it is your own, it comes so naturally to you — holding the baby and cradling her. You know you will be fine and won’t hurt the baby. It’s a feeling that can’t be explained. You have to experience it to understand what it is. It’s amazing!”

It has been about five years since Ayaz and Jannat tied the knot. Ayaz has appeared in a number of shows including, ‘Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed’, ‘Dill Mill Gayye’, and ‘Parichay’ and movies like, ‘Bluffmaster’, ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, and ‘Chashme Baddoor’.
