The Mizoram government has accused Assam police personnel of 'stealing' construction materials from a project site near the border between the two Northeastern states.
Seven people including six Assam police personnel were killed and over 50 others injured in the clash between forces of the two North-eastern states on July 26 and a process of rapprochement is on.

The data was shared in a report titled the 'Border Disputes in the North-East: Raging War Within' released by the Rights and Risks Analysis Group (RRAG) which highlighted that 65,729 persons were displaced between 1979 and 2021.
