Wout Van Aert of Jumbo came second but retained the yellow jersey due to his seven-second advantage in the overall standings. Jasper Philipsen was third. The Tour will leave Denmark and return to France on Tuesday with the fourth stage, a 171.5 km run in the hills between Dunkirk and Calais.
