India are set to take on Pakistan at the Asia Cup 2023 in the Super 4 stage but the threat of rain is looming large. In the group stage, the second innings couldn't be completed and the game was washed out. However, even if rains threaten to dampen the mood on Sunday, a Reserve Day has been placed for the iconic fixture. (More Cricket News)

Indian cricket team's ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin seems to have denoted from this tweet that there will no rain threat at Colombo. Ashwin tweeted, "That’s as pretty a morning as one can get for an #INDvsPAK clash. Lots of tickets still available online for the game. #AsiaCup2023"

The weather updates for the day has predicted rain. As per Accuweather, the chances of rain remain under 50% in Colombo. However, as the day progresses, the chances increase from 49% to 66%.

If the rains stay away, there is a chance that we might get to see a proper game. But, the chances of that remain grim.

Speaking on the weather, Pakistan captain Babar Azam too hoped that the weather would stay clear on Sunday.

“We are focusing on what is in our control. The way the sun is beaming, I don't think it will rain a lot (tomorrow). We are trying to do as much practice as we can,” he added.
