Nepal and Netherlands had a thrilling game in the second match of the Scotland T20I tri-series 2025 taking place in Glasgow. The scores were tied after both sides played their 20 overs. The first Super Over was then tied. The second Super Over also ended with scores tied and then finally in the third Super Over, Netherlands managed to defeat Nepal.

Netherlands were rocked by Sandeep Lamichhane's spell where the leg-spinner took three wickets. Lamichhane and other Nepal bowlers bowled tight spells to restrict Netherlands to 152/8 despite a good start.
In reply, Daniel Doran took three wickets for just 14 runs and played a key role in putting Nepal under pressure despite a small total. When Nepal captain Rohit Paudel got out on the last ball of the 19th over, Netherlands smelled victory. However the Dutch were denied as Nepal scored 15 off the final over to level scores.
The match then went to the Super Over where Nepal posted a massive 19/1. However, Max O'Dowd hit 10 off the final two balls to tie the scores again. Netherlands batted first in the second Super Over and scored another good total of 17/1 but Nepal managed to tie the scores once more to take the game into the third Super Over.
Jack Lion-Cachet then got the wickets of two Nepal batters without giving the run to set up a win for Netherlands. Michael Levitt hit a first ball six to help Netherlands win the Super Over, in their third attempt. Nepal went home with a heartbreak.
