Coppa Italia 2022-23 Final: Lautaro Martinez At The Double As Nerazzurri Claim 2-1 Win Over Fiorentina - In Pics
Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez sounded out to fellow rival Erling Haaland, that he isn't far behind as the former scored twice for the Champions League finalists Inter Milan to beat Fiorentina and win their second consecutive Coppa Italia title on Wednesday. It was Fiorentina who opened the scoring at Stadio Olimpico after just three minutes when Nico Gonzales drilled in a cross. The Europa Conference League finalists meant business in the final of the Italian Cup. However, Martinez equalised from a tight angle in the 29th minute. Martinez then went on to score the winner eight minutes later with a volley. Inter Milan will take on Manchester City in the Champions League final on June 11 whereas Fiorentina face West Ham in the Europa Conference League final on 7.
