The marathon, which will enter its 19th edition, will be organized concurrently with the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2024, and the organizers are looking forward to some rollicking competition from across the continent.
The Athletics Federation of India has sent a four-member contingent to Hong Kong for the event. The team comprises Jyoti Gawate, Ashvini M Jadhav, Man Singh and Belliappa AB.

“We are extremely honoured to have been selected to once again host the Asian Marathon Championships after a period of eight years,” said Kwan Kee, chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Athletics Affiliates. “We hope the cool weather will elevate runner’s performance and favour better results."
