The top five seeds -- India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan -- will enter the competition from the quarter-finals, while the remaining nine teams have already started their respective group-stage engagements. The three group winners from the group stage will qualify for the quarter-finals.
