Police Arrest School Principal For Sexually Harassing Students After They Wrote Letter In Blood To Yogi Adityanath

The school principal sexually harassed several female students in his office at school. He called them to his office on different pretexts and touched them inappropriately. In the letter sent to CM in blood, the students mentioned that after knowing about the harassment incidents their parents went to school to confront the principal.

The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested a school principal in Ghaziabad for sexually harassing female students. The students have reportedly written a letter in blood to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath demanding strict action to be taken against the accused.

According to the reports the principal identified as Dr Rajeev Pandey sexually harassed several female students in his office at school. He called them to his office on different pretexts and touched them inappropriately.

Reportedly the students who are teenagers were scared to speak up about the incident and after they informed their parents about it they went to school to confront the principal.

In the letter sent to CM in blood, the students mentioned that after their parents went to confront the principal at school there was an altercation and the principal allegedly verbally abused the students and their families. Further, they revealed that the group of the kin of the students had beaten up the principal and injured him.

A report by NDTV said that the school principal has also filed a counter-complaint against the parents for trespassing on the school premises and injuring him. Both the cases have been filed by the police. 

Meanwhile, it is reported that the students and their parents were detained by the police and threatened which is also mentioned in the said letter to the CM. Reportedly the letter read, "We were forced to sit at the police station for four hours," and also added, "School authorities have ordered us to not attend classes anymore."

The students in the letter have also claimed that their parents said the principal is a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh which is why he won't face any consequences.

The letter also said, "All of us who have been harassed by him want to discuss this issue with you in person," and the students have also asked CM, "We request you to grant us and our parents permission to meet you and demand justice. We are all your daughters."

The police have arrested the principal after the altercation in the school took place. Saloni Agarwal, a senior police officer has told the media that they have initiated a deep investigation into the matter.
