Addressing the inauguration event of multiple public welfare development projects valued at over Rs 21,000 crore in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the significance of PM Modi's guidance for the citizens, following the recent Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya.

The BJP has organized a two-month-long series of events focusing on the Ram temple to rally party cadre and supporters. Bhupendra Chaudhary, the Uttar Pradesh BJP president, highlighted the importance of the rally, being Modi's first in the state after the Ayodhya event. The party has conducted a fortnight-long public contact drive in West U.P. to ensure a strong turnout.

Bulandshahr, with its diverse population including Lodh Rajputs, Jats, Gujjars, Muslims, and Dalits, has traditionally been a stronghold for the BJP. The party won all seven assembly seats in Bulandshahr in the 2022 elections. The BJP now aims to secure the remaining seats it lost to the SP-BSP alliance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The opposition, including the Samajwadi Party and the Congress, is also focusing on West U.P. to challenge the BJP's dominance. The BJP plans to counter this with a massive rally, anticipating around five lakh attendees at Navada village in Bulandshahr.
