Kolkata Celebrates 150 Years Of Trams With 'Tramjatra 2023'
West Bengal's Kolkata is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its iconic trams that run on the city's roads. To celebrate the urban transport system, the city is taking out 'Tramjatra 2023'. Trams were first introduced in Kolkata in February 1873. Currently, the Kolkata's tram system is the only such system in the country as trams elsewhere have been shut down.
