Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar quashed rumors of internal strife within the JD(U) party, emphasizing unity and collective efforts towards fulfilling promises made to the people of Bihar. During a tribute event for former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Kumar addressed speculations arising from the recent opposition INDIA bloc meeting in Delhi, confidently stating that seat-sharing arrangements would be finalized soon, as reported by PTI.

Refuting claims of discontent reported by certain BJP leaders, Kumar remained unfazed, asserting, "All are united in our party…all is well…I don't really pay attention to what they (BJP leaders) say about us. Let them say whatever they want... it does not have any value. We are only concerned about the overall development of the state. We have undertaken many development works for the overall growth of Bihar."

Highlighting the government's commitment to job creation, Kumar clarified, "We had announced 10 lakh government jobs for the youth of Bihar. Let me make it very clear that we will soon achieve this target… around five lakh government jobs have been provided by the Mahagathbandhan government." The Chief Minister emphasized the visibility of the Mahagathbandhan government's initiatives and its dedication to the overall development of Bihar.

Dismissing reports suggesting dissatisfaction with the INDIA bloc meeting, Kumar reiterated his focus on broader political goals, stating, "I have been maintaining it since the beginning that I have no desire for myself. My only wish is to unite the maximum number of parties before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. I am working only in this direction."
