After losing to Dallas by 40-0, Giants fans did not see this coming. The team brought a historical win home after their match with the Arizona Cardinals at the National Football League 2023.

The Giants haven’t been at their best game for a long time and became a laughingstock during the NFL games. During the first half, the Giants did not start with a great performance and the viewers had already set their bet on the Cardinals, taking the win home.

But to much of their own loss, the Giants had only deceived the viewers during the first half where the Cardinals scored 20 points. But right after, the break time for the Giants they were on fire. The Giants scored on all five of its second-half possessions.

It was during the second half when the game became challenging and had the views on their heels because the Giants couldn’t stop aiming for the scores. With a score of 20-0 in the favour of the Cardinals, it was easy to say that this game might be another loss for the Giants.

Entering his second year as the Giants’ offensive coordinator,  Mike Kafka came out of halftime throwing a bomb. His throw stretched a 58-yard completion to Jalin Hyatt which was a make-up for Jones underthrowing a potential long touchdown to Darius Slayton in the first half.

Jones ran in unimpeded on a 14-yard read-option score, and the Giants offense never
faltered. With 8:51 remaining, Barkley scored two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving, including an unbelievable stretch across the goal line, to narrow the deficit to 28-21.

The match was one of the most nerve-racking matches ever however, bringing the win home was quite the delight for the New York Giants. The Giants will face the San Fransico 49ers next Sunday. It is going to be another delight, as fans are keen to know if the Giants’ luck was only a one-time thing or ‘just the beginning’.
