Vijay, Trisha Krishnan To Finally Share Screen Space After 14 Years In ‘Thalapathy 67’

Thalapathy Vijay’s 67th film, under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj, is going to be huge, in terms of casting, technical standards, and production values. S S Lalit Kumar is bankrolling the film on a high budget under 7 Screen Studio, while Jagadish Palanisamy is the co-producer.

For weeks now, there have been rumours that Trisha Krishnan is playing a pivotal role in ‘Thalapathy 67’, but the actress chose to not answer the question. But finally on Tuesday, Seven Screen Studio, the makers of Thalapathy 67, confirmed the news on Twitter.

The official Twitter handle of the production house unveiled a video featuring scenes from Vijay and Trisha. The tweet read, “Vantom.. Neenga keta update idho (Here we are with the update you were asking for) After 14 years, Get ready to meet the sensational on-screen pair once again (sic).”

‘Thalapathy 67’ features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, and Sandy Master. Now, Trisha Krishnan comes on board as the leading lady opposite Vijay in the movie. This will be the fifth film for Trisha with Vijay. The magical pair is set to work together after 14 long years.

Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film, while Manoj Paramahamsa has handled the cinematography. Further details regarding the cast and crew of ‘Thalapathy 67’ will be announced soon.
