On Thursday night, Shah Rukh Khan hosted a private party for football legend David Beckham at his residence, Mannat. A video of Beckham arriving quietly at Mannat, in a car went viral on social media. On Friday evening, Shah Rukh Khan finally posted a picture with the star soccer player on his Instagram handle.
The picture is from the party on Friday night. Shah Rukh called Beckham “an icon" and “an absolute gentleman''. He also asked the footballer to “get some sleep.”
SRK was in a black t-shirt, blue denims and a black beaded necklace. David was in a brown t-shirt and a striped dark blue blazer.

“Last nite with an icon…and an absolute gentleman. Have always been a big admirer but meeting him and seeing how he is with kids made me realise that the only thing that out does his football is his kindness and his gentle nature. My love to your family. Be well and happy my friend and get some sleep….@Davidbeckham,'' wrote Khan in the caption.
For the unversed, the footballer was in Mumbai to attend the ICC World Cup 2023 semi-final match between India and New Zealand. He attended several parties and met celebrities.
On Wednesday, post the match, actor Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja also hosted a grand party for Beckham where several B-town celebs were present. He received a warm welcome from them and also posed with celebs like Arjun Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Shanaya Kapoor and Malaika Arora among others.

Beckham also met the Ambanis and he was gifted a Mumbai Indians jersey by them.
Coming back to Shah Rukh Khan, on the work front, he has Rajkumar Hirani’s 'Dunki'. It is all set to released in theatres on the occasion of Christmas 2023. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu.
