Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi And Yash Starrer 'Ramayana' To Go On Floor In Summer 2024? Here's What We Know

As per reports, Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will essay the role of Sita and Yash will be seen as Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana'.

Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' is one of the most-anticipated movies. Ranbir Kapoor will be playing Lord Ram. As per reports, the film also stars Sai Pallavi who will essay the role of Sita and Yash as Ravana. A social media has claimed that Ranbir has shared the film's details with him during an airport encounter. He said that the actor told him that 'Ramayana' will go on floors in the summer of 2024.

On December 12, an X user shared a post that read, "Standing ahead of Ranbir Kapoor in the immigration queue and talking about #Animal + his next crazy project wasn’t something I’d signed up for this Bombay trip. And what a lovely guy (sic)."

"Woah, this blew up! Everyone asking, he said ‘Ramayana,’ goes on floor early summers. Not sure I should divulge anything more than that, but the star cast is frickin’ crazy. Wow, #Bollywood is really taking it to the next level starting 2023 (sic)", he said.

Earlier, a report in Pinkvilla stated that Ranbir, Sai Pallavi and Yash already have done their look tests. 

Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “Ranbir and Sai Pallavi will start shooting for the film around the month of February 2024. The first part of the trilogy will focus more on Lord Ram and Sita, leading towards the conflict of Sita Haran. The duo will be shooting for the film from February till August 2024, before calling it a wrap for Ramayana: Part One. Yash has a rather extended appearance in Ramayana: Part One, however, his character will dominate the proceedings in the second part, which is set in Sri Lanka. He has allotted 15 days to shoot for Ramayana: Part One''.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is currently basking in the success of 'Animal' which has taken the box office by storm. Yash had recently announced his upcoming flick, 'Toxic'.
