The much-anticipated Raid 2 trailer is finally out! Starring Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh in key roles, Raid 2 will witness both locking horns.
It is a sequel to 2018 blockbuster, where Ajay is returning as Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Amay Patnaik, while Riteish is portraying the role of a corrupt politician, named Dada Manohar Bhai. The film is connected to the first part as Saurabh Shukla's character is linked to Riteish's.
For the unversed, Patnaik raided Saurabh Shukla's Rameshwar Rajaji Singh house in the 2018 film and discovered black money hidden in a temple.
In Raid 2, Patnaik is on his 75th raid at Dada Bhai's residence and he leaves no stones unturned to find out the black money from his residence. The latter challenges the former that he won't be able to find it, but Patnaik is determined to find it out.
The 2-minute 34-second trailer comes with some hard-hitting dialogues, with a few references from Mahabharat. Riteish nails his character as the antagonist and Ajay shines with the role of an honest revenue officer.
Vaani Kapoor plays the role of Ajay's on-screen wife.

Raid 2 Release Date
Raj Kumar Gupta, who also directed the first instalment, has helmed the sequel as well. Raid 2 was initially scheduled for release on November 15, 2024, and then postponed to 21 February 2025. It will now hit the screens on May 1, 2025.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor, the film also stars Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial, among others in significant roles.
It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. It is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and and produced by Panorama Studios.
