Niharika Kondiela, the niece of superstar Chiranjeevi, tied the knot with Chaitanya JV in a gorgeous ceremony in Udaipur in 2020. However, a year after their marriage, speculations about their separation started doing rounds on social media. In July 2023, the couple announced their separation. Recently, Niharika appeared on a podcast, and she opened up about her divorce.
On a podcast with Nikhil Vijayendra Simha, Niharika Konidela opened up about her divorce for the first time. She spoke about the hurt and the pain. She said, “I am at a stage in life where I want to focus on myself, I also want to be there for my parents. You can’t be dependent on the wrong person. I’ve been divorced for almost two years now, only I know how much it hurt me.”

She also addressed the online trolling that she faced, and she thanked her family for being her pillar of support. She mentioned that her divorce made her realize the value of a family. She further revealed that she has not closed her heart to love. But at this stage, she wants to work on herself and become independent.
While the podcast is doing rounds on social media, Chaitanya JV has reacted to it. He did not address Niharika, but he left a long note in the comments. He said that while he is happy that they addressed the negativity Niharika is receiving, the story is just one-sided.

He said, “Talking about the pain in aftermath and healing is fine, that will help people. In the future instead of an indirect implication of history and fit in words like trust, what will be advised is to have all the parties involved and run through the timeline if you are that keen on knowing and making public aware.”
Chaitanya has received support from fans. But Niharika and Nikhil are yet to comment on it.
