Matthew Perry Laid To Rest, 'Friends' Co-Stars Attend Funeral-Reports

Reportedly, Matthew Perry's 'Friends' co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer paid their last respects to him as they attended the funeral.

Actor Matthew Perry who breathed his last on October 28 at age 54, was laid to rest on Friday, November 3 at a Los Angeles cemetery in a service that was attended by his relatives and 'Friends' castmates, as per reports. 

Reportedly, Matthew Perry's 'Friends' co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer paid their last respects to him as they attended the funeral. 

The funeral took place at the Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles, which is less than a mile from the Warner Brothers studio where 'Friends' was filmed. Several Hollywood stars including Michael Jackson, Lucille Ball and Elizabeth Taylor among others were also laid to rest there. 

Page Six reported that Perry's father, John Bennett Perry, and his stepfather, Keith Morrison, also attended the funeral. About 20 people dressed in black attended it. 

Perry was popularly known for his character Chandler Bing in 'Friends'. He was found dead in a hot tub at his residence in Los Angeles, California. 

On Oct. 30, Perry's 'Friends' co-stars released a joint statement that read: "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."

It further read: "In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
