Kangana Ranaut and her ever-feather-ruffling statements go hand-in-hand. She often grabs the headlines for her controversial statements on social media. After slamming Karan Johar's film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', she has now reacted to the former Member of Rajya Sabha Subramanian Swamy’s remark over her Y-plus security.

For the unversed, the 'Queen' actress was provided with Y+ security by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in 2020 after her spat with Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, as she compared Mumbai to Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. She also claimed that there was a threat to her life in the city. On Sunday, Subramanian Swamy brought up the topic of Ranaut getting Y+ security. Kangana is not someone to stay silent. She has given it back to Swamy.

The former member of Rajya Sabha tweeted, "The SPG knows, and has kept a register of her movements. I wonder why since it is no business of SPG to track Bollywood stars. In her case, on a special dispensation she has a high level of security provided.”

She replied to the politician “I am not just a Bollywood star sir, I am also a very vocal and concerned citizen, I was the target of political malice in Maharashtra, at my expense nationalists could make a government here. I also spoke about tukde gang and strongly condemned Khalistani groups. I am also a filmmaker, writer and producer and my next production Emergency involves operation Bluestar… there is evident treat to my life hence I requested for extended security… Is there something wrong in this Sir?”
