Kangana Ranaut claims that as she was walking to the airport’s boarding gate after passing through security, CISF official Kulwinder Kaur, who was stationed near the curtain area, fought with her and hit her. After landing in Delhi, Kangana Ranaut met with CISF Director General Nina Singh and other top authorities to discuss the situation.
Kulwinder Kaur, a constable, has been apprehended and brought to the CISF Commandant Office for questioning.
Kangana Ranaut took to social media to share her views on the entire episode. She posted a video in which she spoke of the entire ordeal. She captioned the video as, “Shocking rise in terror and violence in Punjab…. (sic).”

Kangana Ranaut informed in the video that she has been constantly getting phone calls from not just media people but also from her well-wishers. She explained how the entire slapgate incident occurred. She even revealed that the CISF constable in question told her that she was a supporter of the farmer’s protest. Kangana Ranaut ended the video by saying that she is safe but she has a concern and her concern is that how do authorities tackle the violent activities happening in Punjab.
For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut recently won in the National Elections. She was given a ticket to contest the election from her hometown of Mandi, in Himachal Pradesh by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). As per reports, Kangana Ranaut got 52.9% of the votes.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will soon be seen in ‘Emergency’ where she will be seen playing the character of Indira Gandhi onscreen. The film talks about the time the former Prime Minister called for a state of emergency in the entire country. Not only has Kangana Ranaut acted in the film, she has also directed and produced the project. The film release got postponed due to the elections.
