Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's daughter Ira Khan is all set to get hitched to her fiance Nupur Shikhare today, on January 3, 2024. The pre-wedding festivities started a few days back with the Maharashtrian Kelvan ceremony. On January 2, haldi and mehendi ceremonies were held. Reportedly, Salman Khan hosted Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's mehendi ceremony at his Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai. Aamir Khan, his ex-wives Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao, Junaid Khan and others were seen arriving at Salman's residence yesterday.
Nupur and Ira dated for years before getting engaged in November last year.

Nupur Shikhare's childhood and education
Nupur Shikhare was born on October 17, 1985, in Pune and later completed his education in Mumbai. He has graduated from RA Podar College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai.
His family
Nupur's mother, Pritam Shikhare, is a trained Kathak dancer. She has also trained Sushmita Sen's daughter Renee Sen.
Nupur is a fitness trainer
Aamir Khan's son-in-law Nupur Shikhare is a celebrity fitness coach, consultant, and also athlete. He has trained several celebs including Aamir, Sushmita Sen and others. Ira and Nupur's love story
As we know Nupur trained Aamir Khan, so Ira met him during the COVID-19 lockdown when Nupur was training the 'Laal Singh Chaddha' actor and Ira was living with her father. Their relationship started with friendship and soon it turned into love.
Nupur's proposal to Ira
Nupur proposed to Ira in September last year and they shared their special moment on Instagram. He proposed to her at a triathlon by going down on one knee holding a ring. They sealed the deal with a romantic kiss. Ira shared a video to announce her surprise engagement to Nupur on Instagram.

As per reports in News18, the wedding will take place at Bandra’s plush Taj Lands End hotel and will be followed by the two reception parties – one in Delhi and the other in Jaipur, between January 6 and 10.
