Gulshan Devaiah Rekindles Relationship With Ex-Wife Kalliroi Tziafeta, Says, ‘Approach Is Much Different This Time’

Actor Gulshan Devaiah and his ex-wife, Kallirroi Tziafeta, got divorced in 2020. But now to everyone’s surprise, the former couple, who remained good friends even after separation, have rekindled their relationship. The actor, who has time and again, talked about the bond the two continued to share even after their separation, mentioned that they are giving their relationship another chance. 

Talking about dating his ex-wife, and how they are longing to “nurture the good things” between them, Gulshan stated that they are getting back together. 

The ‘Duranga’ actor told India Today, “We want to nurture the good things we had with each other. This has led us to this point where we can say that let’s try again and have another go at it.” 

He further stated that their approach towards their relationship this time around, and said, “The approach is much different this time – it’s very mature, constructive and productive. There is no guarantee that everything will end up good but it does feel different and better.”

Last year, Gulshan opened up about his divorce, and revealed he and his wife were “very much in love”. In an interview with Hindustan Times, the ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ actor said, “My ex-wife and I are very much in love. We just couldn’t make it (the marriage) work. But, the love is there. I always knew that just love is not enough to make marriage work. Marriage is a responsibility, too. You have to constantly be willing to negotiate with each other to go through life together and that can be hard. That’s the only reason we are divorced.”

Gulshan and Kallirroi parted ways in 2020 after being married for eight years. “I never thought my marriage would go wrong. Although I did see a lot of my friends’ marriages fall apart — Kalki-Anurag (actor Kalki Koechlin and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap) being the famous ones — I thought that won’t happen with me. But it did. We couldn’t make it work,” Gulshan had said.

On the work front, both Gulshan and Kallirroi have had interesting releases. While Gulshan was seen in ‘Dahaad’, ‘Guns and Gulaabs’ and ‘8 A.M. Metro’, Kallirroi was seen in ‘Made in Heaven’ and ‘Dhak Dhak’.
