Ankita Lokhande Recalls Tearful Reaction To Sushant Singh Rajput's Intimate Scenes In 'Shuddh Desi Romance'

TV actress Ankita Lokhande and the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput dated for seven years before calling it quits. Ankita, who is currently in the 'Bigg Boss 17' House, often recalls her memories shared with the late actor. This time, she remembered him fondly, recalling the time when he booked an entire theatre hall just for her to watch his films 'PK,' and 'Shuddh Desi Romance.' 

In the latest episode, Ankita is seen having a conversation with fellow contestant Abhishek Kumar as they discuss possessive partners in a relationship. Ankita reminisced about the period when she dated Sushant, and how during the release of 'Shuddh Desi Romance,' he made sure she watched his intimate scenes in the movie alone.

“He had booked an entire hall. He knew that I would get miffed. I saw it and my nails were like this (enacts nails digging in the seat). The entire movie got over and I went back and cried a lot,” Ankita said (translated from Hindi).

She further revealed that post watching the movie, during their own intimate moments, she would experience flashbacks of his movie scenes. “I got those flashbacks in my mind and I pushed him back. To see your boyfriend kissing someone else…"

When questioned about whether the actor took her permission before agreeing to kiss a co-star in a film, Ankita said that he had.

“I can’t come in between someone’s career but it’s a different thing to watch it,” she said. Ankita continued saying that watching his scenes with Anushka Sharma in 'PK' also upset her. “Even in 'PK,' I went insane.”

The actress confirmed that her relationship with Sushant lasted until the release of 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' in 2016.

Previously, in one of the episodes, Ankita mentioned hiding her breakup with Sushant from the public eye for nearly two years. She revealed that she was holding onto hope for a reconciliation. She said, “I had hopes of Sushant returning as our relationship was of seven years. I had hoped he would return home and hence I didn’t tell anyone. I was staying in a home which had photos of us all over."
