With the New Year begins the new chapter of actress Amala Paul's life. She took to Instagram on Wednesday night to announce via an adorable maternity photoshoot that she and husband Jagat Desai are expecting an addition to their family.
In their joint Instagram post, the couple wrote, "Now I know that 1+1 is 3 with you!" along with happy pictures from their photoshoot. They posted the photos with the backdrop of the song 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri.
In one of the photos, Amala and Jagat wrapped their arms around the growing baby bump as the latter held her from behind. Another picture showed only their feet on the beach. There was also a picture of Amala widely smiling and showing her baby bump in a mirror reflection.

Congratulations and well-wishes from fans poured all over the comment sections. "Many many congratulations guys," wrote one, while the other said, "So happy for you. Stay happy and healthy for the new one.”

The couple tied the knot in a lavender-themed wedding in November 2023 in Kerala, and shared beautiful photos on social media from the lavish occasion.
