Alia Bhatt Leads Filmfare 2023 Nominations With ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘Brahmastra’; Check Out Full List

The highest number of nominations have gone to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.

The nominations for the 68th Filmfare Awards 2023 have finally been announced and they include performances, films and artists, who managed to impress the audience and the critics alike in the last year. Not surprisingly, the maximum number of nominations are for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, and they include best film, best director, best actor for Alia Bhatt, best music and best debut male for Shantanu Maheshwari among others. 

Alia’s other 2022 release, ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring actor husband Ranbir Kapoor, too has bagged nominations in categories including best film, best director for Ayan Mukerji, best actor in a supporting role for Mouni Roy, and others. Apart from that, ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been given a nod in six categories, including best director for Vivek Agnihotri, best actor for Anupam Kher, and others.

Reportedly, Salman Khan will be hosting the ceremony, alongside co-hosts Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul.
