Adah Sharma, who was recently seen in the controversial film ‘The Kerala Story’, has found herself in trouble as her phone number has been leaked online along with her morphed images. The actor, who is now looking for a legal route, said that she became aware of the situation when she started getting a huge number of calls and messages, including several threatening ones.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Adah, who is now planning to change her contact number, said, “I feel just like any other girl would feel with her number being leaked out with morphed images. It shows the perverse mentality of a person who would stoop so low and get joy doing this. It reminds me of a scene in ‘The Kerala Story’ where a girl is bullied by publicly publishing her number.”

She added, “The person who leaked it has been up to some other activities too for a long time that cops have found out so me having to change my number is a small price to pay to have this person be behind bars.”

Adah recently met Union minister Nitin Gadkari along with the film’s producer Vipul Shah and the rest of the team.

‘The Kerala Story’ is about three women, who were allegedly forcefully converted to Islam, and recruited by the terrorist organisation ISIS. Helmed by Sudipto Sen, ‘The Kerala Story’ faced criticism after several politicians, actors, and the audience termed it to be a work of propaganda. Despite the controversy, the film minted Rs 210 crores at the box office.
