Vikrant Massey and wife Sheetal Thakur are soon set to become parents as they are expecting their first child. Vikrant Massey recently hosted a baby shower for the mother-to-be, and we must say, it was all about fun and games. In the pictures shared on social media, all the dads can be seen showing their diaper changing skills and even stuffing balloons in their shirts to feel the pregnant life.
Sharing a series of pictures from the baby shower, Sheetal wrote on Instagram, “Life’s about to get a whole lot cuter. Snippets from my babyshower. #hatchingsoon.”
Actor Priyanshu Painyuli commented on the pictures, “Sooo cute, really happy for you guys.” Several of their fans too commented and dropped cute messages. While one wrote, “Beautiful pictures... Stay blessed always.. you are glowing so it will be a baby girl from my perspective,” another one said, “I can't take my eyes off glowing mommy and daddy.” A fan also wrote, “It's going to be a merrier Christmas for the Masseys and Thakurs.”

Vikrant and Sheetal had announced the news of their pregnancy in September. Sharing a picture from their wedding day, the two had written on Instagram, "We are expecting! Baby coming 2024. New beginnings (dizzy emoji)."
Vikrant and Sheetal first met on the sets of the web series, ‘Broken But Beautiful’. They had tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in February last year.
As for his work, Vikrant is currently riding high on the success of his last film, ‘12th Fail’. Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, it was based on the real-life story of millions of students who attempt the world's toughest civil service competitive exam, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The film collected Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office and was praised by the critics.

As for his future projects, he would be seen in ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ alongside Taapsee Pannu, apart from starring in ‘Yaar Jigri’ and ‘Sector 36’.
In fact, '12th Fail’ has been submitted for the Oscars as an independent nomination. It was confirmed by the actor himself before his appearance on Sahitya AajTak 2023. The film was certainly a sleeper hit.
