Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's latest Eid offering ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ underperformed on the first day of its release. But the film, despite getting negative to mixed reviews by the critics, has managed to perform well in its opening weekend.

After an underwhelming performance on day 1, the film witnessed a multi-fold jump over the weekend, by collecting Rs 25.75 crore on the Eid holiday on Saturday, and minted similar box office collections of Rs 26.61 crore on Sunday. The total of the film now stands at Rs 68.17 crore in its opening weekend.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#KisiKaBhaiKisiKiJaan packs a solid total in its opening weekend… #SalmanKhan’s star power + #Eid festivities ensured #HouseFull boards across many properties on Sat and Sun… Fri 15.81 cr, Sat 25.75 cr, Sun 26.61 cr. Total: ₹ 68.17 cr. #India biz.”

Nonetheless, the jump over the weekend, especially in mass circuits, has led to the film’s overall growth. The real test for the film, however, starts on Monday, and Salman and his team are in a wait and watch situation.

'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' marked Salman's return in a leading role after 'Radhe', which was released in 2021. The film also stars Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, and Bhumika Chawla. It also stars Vijender Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar.

Meanwhile, Salman has shared a new picture of himself to thank his fans for their support towards ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’.
