Defending champion Tadej Pogacar (Team Jumbo–Visma) won Stage 17 (Saint-Gaudens to Peyragudes, 130 km) of the Tour de France 2022 on Wednesday after a thrilling race against overall leader Jonas Vingegaard (Team Jumbo–Visma). Pogacar's American team-mate Brandon McNulty finished third. Despite the bonus seconds for the win, Slovenian still trails the Dane by two minutes and 18 seconds. Stage 18, another mountain terrain, will cover 143.5 km from Lourdes to Hautacam.
