Amanda Anisimova reached her second grand slam semi-final after beating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at Wimbledon.
Anisimova cruised to victory in SW19, winning 6-1 7-6 (11-9), and will now face world number one Aryna Sabalenka in the last four.
Twenty-three-year-old Anisimova wasted no time getting started after breaking her opponent's serve twice on her way to a 4-0 lead in the first.
She secured the set with her first set point and carried that momentum into the second.
Anisimova had the chance to serve for the match, but Pavlyuchenkova broke her serve at the third time of asking in the game.
Pavlyuchenkova then missed five opportunities to take the match to a deciding set, but Anisimova powered through to win the tiebreak in the second.

Anisimova was ranked number 189 at this time last year, but is now likely to enter the WTA top 10 after a brilliant year.
