Team India worked their socks off to break the Proteas defence on the second day of the 1st Test at Centurion. After KL Rahul's century steered India to 245, the bowlers could not work their magic with the ball. After Mohammed Siraj dismissed Aiden Markram early on, Dean Elgar and Tony de Zorzi stitched a partnership as they frustrated the Indian bowling attack. (Day 2 Highlights | Scorecard | Streaming | Day 1 Report | Full Coverage)

However, a two-wicket spell from Jasprit Bumrah turned the game around as sent back de Zorzi and Keegan Petersen in quick succession.

This 'trick' is not the first time that has resulted in a wicket for the bowling team. In the 2019 Ashes, Nathan Lyon's bail flip resulted in two quick wickets of Joe Root and Rory Burns.

Most recently, England's Stuart Broad used this trick in the fifth and final Ashes Test at The Oval as he flipped the bails and it resulted in the wicket of Aussie batter, Marnus Labuschagne.

However, Kohli's magic did not last long as Elgar smashed his 14th career Test century. At stumps, he remained unbeaten on 140 as Proteas ended day two on 256/5 with a lead of 11 runs.
